Every graphic on a Tokiyo tee starts as a hand-drawn sketch. Our in-house design studio in India works with a blend of Japanese calligraphy influences, anime-inspired line art, and bold typographic expressions to create graphics that feel both timeless and culturally resonant.
From Concept to Cloth
The process begins with a mood board - sourced from everything from Shinjuku street photography to vintage Bollywood poster art. Our designers then translate these references into original vector illustrations, refined over multiple rounds of feedback before they ever touch a t-shirt.
Why We Choose DTF Printing
Direct-to-film (DTF) printing allows us to achieve photographic detail and unlimited colour depth - something traditional screen printing cannot match for complex artwork. Our prints are heat-cured at precise temperatures to ensure they survive hundreds of wash cycles without cracking or fading.
Limited Drops, Intentional Stories
We do not mass produce. Each Tokiyo collection is a limited drop - typically 200-500 units per design. This scarcity is intentional. We want every customer to own something rare, something with meaning. When a drop sells out, it stays sold out.
The next time you look at a graphic on your Tokiyo tee, know that it took weeks of creative work - and a team of passionate people - to get it there.
